    I'm new to this whole walking sticks thing but so far so good. These work great on streets and side walks. Protects your points. At first I thought they were too small but they stay on and I have had no problems.

    I have had my komperdell poles for over 20 years. we are heading to Disneyworld this year so I wanted to use my poles on the pavement for all that walking. These tips fit perfectly and work very efficiently on pavement.

    These fit my Komperdell Cork grip Antishock poles. Others have noted lack of durability, so I have added a small metal washer that fits snuugly inside to protect the bottom from the carbide tip of the pole, as is in the tips for my Mountainsmith poles. We'll see how they last. I mostly ue them to protect the car from the pole tips, but would use them on streets or a hike on a primarily rocky surface.

    Unfortunately things happen. The rubber tip converts your walking pole into a comfortable cane. Plus you are not poking holes in a wood floor or the cane is not skidding on a marble floor. Eventually the carbide tip will poke through the bottom.
