Hiked over thirty miles this weekend with these poles and the only blister I got was on my finger. I may try taping the grips as the hard plastic wasn't very user friendly. I also had to frequently adjust the height as they kept slipping and one of the baskets came off on the first day. They were; however, strong and light weight. I wish I had spent a little more and gotten the cork handles.

I used to Hike carrying a heavy walking stick. These poles are light weight, compact, and functional. I don't know how I ever got by without them. They fit easly inside a day pack I love them so much I bought my Husband a pair.
