1.0 out of 5 stars. Poor qualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Caz13 from SF on Sunday, August 27, 2017I am very glad I tested these at home as one of the poles snapped. I'm very disappointed in the quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome poles!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Chris from NH on Thursday, March 17, 2016There poles are lightweight and hane the best grips by far of any brand I tried. Super comphy grips that are big enough for s mans hand. I tried Leki poles and didn't like the grips. I tried Heliox and the grips were way too thin. The Komperdell grips are the best on the market out of the ones I tried and preformed excellent on the first hike with them. I highly recommend this brand and Sierra for their excellent prices and fast shipping.

5.0 out of 5 stars. A real bargainVerified Buyer Reviewed by Barefoot Grandma from Northwest Indiana on Tuesday, March 15, 2016Taking my granddaughter on her first extended backpack trip on the AT and wanted to get her poles for her birthday. These were such a good bargain and really good quality poles that are easily adjustable.

4.0 out of 5 stars. unknown colorReviewed by gift giver from New Hampshire on Monday, December 21, 2015Be aware that although this is advertised as green on the photo, you really do not know which color you will receive, as Sierra (according to customer service) does not have control of the color. I thought I was getting green poles but ended up getting red, which is a bummer because these are a gift for someone who loves green. The Asst 99 apparently means "assorted" (when I clicked on "see details" button, I received a blank page). Other than that, the poles look good, but we have not tested them yet.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Trekking Poles to use with SnowshoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Inspection Girl from Pennsylvania on Tuesday, February 17, 2015Held up well in hard crusty snow. Definitely stay locked and found them up to par. I would recommend them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. These poles look great.Verified Buyer Reviewed by The Hiking Engineer from Indiana on Friday, December 5, 2014I purchased these Komperdell trekking poles for my son and automatically bought the rubber tips to go along with them. These are Christmas gifts so they haven't been used yet. I (as well as 2 other hiking friends) purchased Komperdell poles from Sierra Trading post about 17 years ago, have used them on some of the most challenging backpacking terrain in America and still use the same poles. These are lighter than mine and the locking mechanism looks like it will be more secure in the long run, I had to excercise restraint in not keeping them for myself.
