Good price.
Like the powerlock feature, this is why we bought the poles. Twist locks have failed in the past.
Did get a blister from the handle on first long hike, but they were new and it was a 13 mile hike with nearly 6,000ft elevation gain...tough first test.
Wish the poles came with baskets other than snow baskets...however these are easy to find and replace.
Recommend the power lock feature over the twist lock poles.

I use these poles for off-trail exploring in extremley rugged terrain. They are far better than 3 piece poles I have had and have a great locking mechanism.

I'm using these as trekking poles and they're fine. The surprise came when the handle loop came out on their maiden voyage. I had to tie a knot in the loop for a quick fix. When I got them home I was able to pop the top of the handle off and re-thread the loop. I have large hands and the grips could be a little larger, but that's just me. They are lighter than my wife's Komperdells, which are about 5 years old. I like the locking mechanism and it's holding so far.

I used these for the first time a couple days ago and fell in love, they're great poles. I'm not sure about the durability, only time will tell on that one, but they were a pleasure to use for a long day of skiing. The powerlock works great and it easy to operate, and they are nice and light. I've always alpoine skiied so A/T is all new to me, but very exciting to have such nice gear, poles included!
