First day out with these poles, one snapped in half. I had a replacement pair sent to me and when I opened that pair, the tip fell off of one, which I was able to put back on, but when I went to extend one of the poles for the first time, it broke. Sent all 4 poles back for a refund.

I tend to not use poles at all but I decided to give this a try. I went on a 9 hour snowshoe up aggressive hills and these poles were great. They didn't collapse and on the way down where it was mixed snow/dirt, the antishock was great. Also, I had no arm fatigue at all since they were so light! I have a bad left shoulder and have used a friend's pole in the past with no antishock and my shoulder hurt for days, so far it has been 2 days no wrist or shoulder discomfort.
