My wife and I walk every day regardless of the weather. These polls help both of us navigate over snow and ice or when rain makes walking difficult. It's wonderful having these polls to count on and keep us moving. I'm confident that if a slip does occur we will be able to maintain our balance using this wonderful equipment.

I tested this poles for 6 hours in extreme hiking: rocks, snow with ice, and I find them very strong and easy to handle. Highly recommend it. I'm going to buy a one more pair for my friend.

I have 10 years of mountain climbing experience. I tested this poles in snow-rain mountains hiking conditions. This poles survived 4 hours hiking test with elements of light mountain-snow-rock climbing. Also this poles are very good looking and I'm a sensitive to that. I'm planning to buy more as a gift for my friends. Highly recommend it.

I bought this product as a gift. The quality seems high, even though I have not personally used this product.

Although I'm an experienced hiker/backpacker, my arthritic knees will benefit from the stability of the adjustable poles.

I was greatly disappointed. Bought to replace my broken Titanal Contour air-shock. Unbalanced. The swing weight (i.e., weighted toward ends not handles) puts strain on my wrists. Worst is the antishock: I felt negligible difference between on and off. I'd rather spend more money and get comfortable poles.

The set I purchased replaces the set that was stolen, together with my Honda CRV. I purchased the original set in approximately 2000 and used them without fail whenever I hiked, including, for example, the Milford Track in New Zealand. The second day of the three-day hike includes a wicked down hill for approximately three miles if I remember correctly. I would have been in pure agony on that part if I did not have them.

Anti-shock is "On" or "Off" with a quick twist off the pole. Cork grips are softer than I had anticipated. Maybe not a bad thing though. Time will tell how they hold up.
