“Great poles, light and reasonably priced”

“I have used these poles for a week-long backpacking trip and a few day hikes. They have been fantastic for stability when carrying weight, walking in or crossing rivers and for reducing joint stress when hiking down steep hills. They feel very light to me. The locking mechanism for adjusting length (twist to loosen and twist back to tighten) has been ok but might be problematic in very cold conditions. The anti-shock locking mechanism comes undone on my right hand pole when I go up hills because I put pressure on my right pole while rotating it slightly. This isn't detrimental, but is sometimes annoying. They didn't come with plastic covers for the tips so I recommend buying some for when you transport and store them. All in all they are great poles for the price!”
