“Love these poles! I've been using snowshoe poles for the last few years as I've started backpacking and hiking in the Adirondacks. Having passed more avid hikers on the trail with true trekking poles, I researched many before selecting these. Contrary to what some other reviews said, I found the adjustment quick, easy, and secure and the stability to be excellent. The tip really does bite. My first hike with them was up a small peak on mixed snow, ice, and bare rock, requiring microspikes on the boots, but the poles grab both ice and rock and hold true. So glad I made the switch!”
