These poles are the lightest three-section poles out there, and I love the easy swing-weight. They felt harsh at first, as I had previously used a pair of anti-shock poles, but I got used to it. My main complaint is that you have to tighten them really hard or they slip.

I paid [$] for these from [...]. I felt the time came to finally get a pair, especially as everyone told me I'd need them for my weekend trip thru the New Hampshire Whites. These work like a dream when traversing rocky sections they act as outriggers to keep yourself stabilized. The carbon construction is super light, and looks cool to boot. No antishock here; I don't like overcomplication, simple is best and that's what these poles are.

The poles were great and the shocks are a great feature. For some reason I had some issues with one pole with extending it and closing it down, but other than that they were great.

Best and lightest poles I ever used. It's really lightweight, like feather if compaired with my old Leki aluminium poles. Very comfortable grip, nice looking.

Very happy with this product. Great handles and strap, very light, great locking mechanism to the telescoping poles.

The poles are so light that wind keeps blowing them off my intended planting spot. Is that pro or con ^_^ Komperdell duolock definitely have problems. Every pair I tried had problems closing the lock. Some just keep spinning and never engage. Others require sliding the pole to a certain position before you can tighten them. Also heard some complains that they may not as durable as other popular brands, but I can't comment on that. Overall a great choice, thanks to STP's excellent price and service.
