    My wife and I hike all the time (she, 5 days a week, I, at least 2 times a week). Decided to get poles when all our friends had them and liked them. We got these for all the features (for minimalists, use ski poles which you can get for $20). These Poles were great--comfortable, strong and easily adjustable once we figured out how to adjust and secure (but, see below). Cons, one of my baskets fell off in the parking lot heading to the trailhead. The other lasted less than half the hike. My wife's came off on the way back. I found the one in the parking lot on our return. Also, there is a click adjustment to turn off the anti shock. Ours seems not to work so anti shock is on all the time. This though is minor. Should have a better fit and lock for baskets.

    mY KNEES ARE STARTING TO HURT ON MY WEEKLY HIKES SO I PURCHASED THESE TO HELP OUT. THEY REALLY SEEM TO BE WORKING, MAKING DOWNHILLS MORE COMFORTABLE.
