used the poles to hike the kaibab trail at the south rim of the grand canyon. had to share a pole with my wife (it was our 25th anniversary) poles provided exceptional stability. we both made it back up with their help. as a +50's hiker treking poles are a must.

Very good poles! Super light weight and comfortable. I was skeptical about the prospect of them collapsing during use...no problem! I am 200 lbs and grind them hard up and down the mountain and they are handling the abuse flawlessly.

These are great basic, no frills poles. I used a pair of Komperdells for 7 years before finally bending it. I bought these to replace them. They are working just as the others thus far.

Never thought about using poles before. But after one use. I see how they help with stability.

I love these poles - they compact to a nice small size for easy storage in one's pack. Note they aren't anti-shock, but that keeps them light.

These have been through some rough hikes at the grand canyon and take abuse well. I have slowly developed a trust in these poles and now lean on them with full weight even with a heavy pack. The cork handles are great too. Easy adjustment but not too many moving parts that could brake and leave you poleless when you need to make a splint.

1st trek was the Inca trail in August, couldn't have made it without them. This month was 4 days of day hikes at Big Bend, again indispensible (especially on the desert hikes!).
