These are light, easy to use, basic trekking poles. They make a noticeable difference on hills, especially when carrying a pack. Be sure to order the rubber tips.

This is the 2nd pair of poles I bought, hoping that the brand would deliver. Unfortunately, the first day I used these poles, they broke and failed to lock properly and the baskets would not stay on and came off almost with just a touch. I returned these and am disappointed in the twist-lock mechanism. It fails much to easily. I will buy a pair that has the clip locks instead, even if it costs more.

After hiking over a snow and ice trail for several miles, I decided to try some trekking poles. I also heard that they would be good on my aging knees. These poles seem to be like weight and well built. I like the cork grip. The strap and pole length adjustments are quick, easy, and secure.

Product exactly as advertised. Lightweight (for aluminum poles), strong, grips feel great to my hands. The adjustments are easy, and made very convenient by the full adjustment markings on two sections. I am pleased with these poles.

Just returned from summitting Whitney with these poles. They performed perfectly. Did not use gloves on the entire hike and no blisters formed although I was worried about the wrist straps being unpadded. I do wish that rubber tips would be available, as the ones I purchased did not stay on.

I really love these poles. I would call myself fit and in good shape however my legs always want to turn around before the rest of my body is ready. Normally cardio isn't a huge issue so being able to include the poles and get what I feel to be a better cardio workout on top of extending my distance by an easy 40% is a major plus. These poles allow me to not only go fast but also a much longer distance without any part of my body feeling totally worn. If lacking cardio is what cuts your adventures short I would say these may make that worse, however, if you're like me and it's your legs that fail you buy the trekking poles. These are well built and the price is excellent!

Nice poles. Great grip on wet terrain and strong enough to carry my weight without even thinking twice. Grips are comfortable. The only annoying part of my experience was that the mud guards fell off on my first hike...probably my fault for not installing them correctly. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and would buy again.
