    The Titanal poles are very light, with EVA full foam. and it's short enough so I can put it into my 65L Alpine Lowe backpack easy when I travel by plane.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    used for 1/2 a summer and snapped one in lower section and the other bowed permanently and had got a dent in it. Aluminum poles have done better for me.
