    The fabric on this feels like Polartec PowerStretch, which is my favorite first-layer fabric. It is smooth on the exterior and has a plush, soft interior. However, the key comfort feature is that it is very stretchy and molds perfectly to the head and face without pulling too tightly (especially on the chin like I have experienced with many other balaclavas).
