From their beginnings in Brooklyn, New York in 1953, Kork-Ease shoes and sandals possessed a natural simplicity and organic design that flowed right into the earthy fashions of the 60s.     I wish I had bought the black ones as well... True to size, sturdy, stable, high heeled but comfortable and amazingly easy to walk on. The brown is lighter then in the picture, a very red brown colour. I loooove these boots. Beautiful leather and yes the zip thingie clanks against the zip when you walk, but who cares, these boots are sooo cool!

    I love love love these boots. They fit great, wear well, and look awesome with loads of things. I wear with skinny jeans, skirts, and even shorts with tights. I also love Sierra Trading Post for finding fantastic deals on shoes.

    unexpectedly comfortable. i have a regular width feet but flat at the top with little ankles so my feet slid a bit, crunching my toes. i tightened the leather strings (not much but it is possible) and put in an extra padding for my heel/arch so the front of ankle can rest into the front part. now it fits like a glove. despite height, these boots are comfortable enough to walk around town/go dancing etc.
