I wear 8.5D in my street shoes and so I purchased the Size 9 Chromes (the only size available when I made my purchase). My toes touch the tip of the boots with my Simms neoprene sock foot waders, sock liner and mid-weight wool sock. Consequently, I would not be able to use these boots in the middle of winter steelheading season when I would be inclined to wear bulkier socks. Other than the sizing, the boot looks to be very promising ... supportive uppers, light weight, sticky rubber soles and smooth BOA lacing.

I used this product fly fishing both on a spring creek where wading is not allowed and in the mountain streams. I probably fished/hiked close to 8 miles in the first day. Fit was pretty good as i wear a 10 1/2 and ordered an 11 and the fit was fine with neoprene footed waders. I did find that i had to tighten down the dial after a few hours which wasn't to much of a pain but i do wonder how the durability of the dial and the wire laces will hold up over repeated use. For the price and I had a 25% off coupon so these were a good purchase. Durabilty has yet to be determined but i think they will hold up well.

Great company and a nice fitting boot. Anyone needing a pair of wading boots would be foolish not to shop here, you may have to wait for the deal but it will be here eventually. The boots fit well and hold up well.

  • Question “Hi I wear a size 10 (UK) shoe. WHat size corker boot would I need if I am wearing 5mm neoprene waders with them?”
Asked on 10/23/2012 12:00:00 AM by Jarred from New Zealand
    • Answer A UK size 10 is equivalent to a US 10.5. Our fit models recommend half-sizes to round up to the next whole size on most of our Korker boots. When wearing thick neoprene wading socks beneath them it's recommended you order 1 size up so a US size 12 should work for you in these boot.
