Got these as a gift for my wife. Sierra did not initially list the women's size equivalent, so I looked up a chart online and ordered what I thought would work, Mistake. Contacted Sierra for a return, what a great company, sure, it cost me a few dollars to send them back, but I ordered the wrong size, so it was my problem. The return transaction went smoothly and the replacements showed up in just a few days. Boots fit great, Boa system is fantastic! I have Simms G4 Guide boots that cost a whole lot more and for the money, I'd get these if they have them in your size. What can you say Korkers & Sierra Trading Post . . . . Awesome!

The boa system on one of the boots started failing only after a couple uses. Shortly thereafter, the sole started becoming detached.

Only about a dozen uses and they're now useless.

    I will be returning these.

    • Pros: Good Grip, Lightweight

  • Question “Do these boots accept the screw in metal studs?”

    • Answer No they do not.

    • Answer There aren't any pre-drilled locations for studs, but I had good success installing studs from Orvis (their Posi-grip studs). I've only had one outing, but it doesn't look like the studs are going to fall out. The sole is plenty thick, although take care not to strip the material by overtightening (it's mostly foam and soft/sticky rubber, with only one hard plastic layer). I did have to pre-drill my holes (with a slightly undersize drill bit). There is that hard plastic layer that the studs won't want to get through, especially if the studs you choose aren't pointy/self-drilling. the orvis studs take a 1/4" driver. The included tool is mostly useless. A 1/4" nut driver will give you enough oomph to get them in there.
