    I had never before bought any sandles. We had a family vacation in Kauai Fall of 2009 and wish I had these sandles then. I used an older pair of rubber sandles that were in the rental condo we had. That was a mistake. My nephew had on a pair of sandles he had gotten from STP and loved them. When I saw these listed AND on sale, I jumped at the chance to get them. They are wonderful!

    These shoes are a great change from years of wearing Birks which can be too casual in some settings. They look and feel great with or without socks, with long or short pants as well.

    These sandals are very comfortable. I have no use for the "golf soles" but fortunately there is a card in the box to trade a different set of soles f[...].. Bonus!The "order half size down" should be taken seriously. I typically order a 10 1/2 to 11, the size 10 sandals fit well.

    Convertible soles are big advantage. I use the hiking sole when loading/unloading and hiking to river. Then I switch to felt soles when I hit the water.
