“as a woman who was tired of clomping through steams in full waders and heavy wading boots these are a dream come true. They are lighter than traditional boots and offer better stability than a tennis shoe. I have a wide foot and they are a bit narrow - but seem to give enough when wet to be comfortable for hours of fishing. For $7 you can return exchange any unused sole which is great for non-golfers. While they aren't as comfortable as my hiking boots the trade off for having not to carry in my heavy gear to the back counntry for a day of fly-fishing is well worth it!”
