“Well made, nice but with flaws”

“One of the small elastic bands that hold the vest in place was broken, and the middle button came off the second time I wore it. I'm keeping the jacket, but I'll re-sew all the buttons before I wear it seriously, so as not to lose buttons. I like the way the jacket looks, and apart from these flaws it seems well made. Probably the elastic band was broken by a previous buyer who returned it (?), but there's no excuse for such shoddy button-sewing.”
