Kroon Italian Cotton Moleskin Jacket with Elbow Patches (For Men)

One of the small elastic bands that hold the vest in place was broken, and the middle button came off the second time I wore it. I'm keeping the jacket, but I'll re-sew all the buttons before I wear it seriously, so as not to lose buttons. I like the way the jacket looks, and apart from these flaws it seems well made. Probably the elastic band was broken by a previous buyer who returned it (?), but there's no excuse for such shoddy button-sewing.

This is a very well-tailored sport coat that lived up to its claims. After having the sleeves shortened, I will get a lot of use from this versatile coat, for travel and casual wear.

I now have 2 Kroon jackets & this one is very stylish & comfortable. Throw it on with a pair of jeans & you are ready to go.

Met and exceeded my expectations. Moleskin is my fabric of choice (including the Lambourne trousers bought on Sierra Trading Post!), and this jacket is crafted of beautiful cloth, with much attention to detail. I am very pleased with it.

Comfortable, handsome, and stylish Italian Coat! The button-in removable vest is a plus, but the jacket runs 1-2 inches small in chest, so with the vest in place, it really feels too tight.

My husband is 5'11", 174 lbs, 32" waist and normally wears a 42R which must be tailored at the waist. This 42R is very (repeat very) tight in the shoulders/upper sleeves. The rest of the jacket was a perfect fit. My son who normally wears a 40R also found the sleeves constrictive. We ordered the next size up; the shoulders/ upper sleeves of the 44R fit but the body of the jacket is typical of the a 44R. Both jackets will be returned; if we had access to a master tailor we would keep it. The jacket is beautifully detailed and exceptionally soft.

This is a very good looking jacket. Stylish and versatile. Classic and formal look with pants and trendy smart look with jeans. The material feels of good quality but the buttons are not well sewn on, needs reinforcing. Other than that, very nice jacket.

This jacket has dual functionality - a casual business coat, but also for weekend use. The styling gets lots of compliments from my co-workers, but it's easy to throw on with a pair of jeans on a cool weekend and it looks great. The fabric feels soft and warm - and the elbow patches haven't been a distraction at all like I thought they would be - they actually add to the durability. Nice coat !!

Good construction & material. 40 Reg. was too small.42 needed tailoring. Middle button started unraveling third time wearing jacket. Liner is button in vest.
