Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Giddyup Dave from Ohio on Tuesday, October 15, 2013Really liked the style of the coat; the look and fabric choice, but it was an extremely heavy. Wears more like an outdoor coat, than a casual sport coat. The 40 regular seemed very generous in size, and I probably could have worn a 38 regular.
Reviewed by J Hanrahan from Iowa on Monday, March 25, 2013This fabric blend has a little more weight to it than most sport coats but is not too heavy. It weighs similar to a 100% wool tweed sports coat. The tailoring for this weight of fabric is impressive. The upper back, under the arms and chest are roomy enough for layering sweaters underneath it. The mid section has a tapering that creates a waist to it. The zippers, patch pockets and the button flaps are stitched flat against the coat...no bulky look to it.
In studio lights, clothing usually photographs lighter than the reality. The vintage plaid is shades of dark navy blues with very subtle transitions between the shades. This is a dark jacket that does not scream for attention from across a room. This versatile coat looks good with denim jeans, cotton twill pants and wool blend dress slacks. I'll be keeping lookout for other Kroon Nash sport coats...this was my first.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Niteowl from Milwaukee, WI on Friday, December 7, 2012Well made and tailored. I'm 6'1 and normally wear a 42 long. The large fit me very well. The sleeves are just long enough too. A fun blazer.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Saracen from Chicago on Tuesday, October 30, 2012I ordered what I thought was my usual size but had lost weight since my last jacket purchase. The right size only had 2 jackets left. The lady helping me shipped out the jacket for a small shipping fee, and I could send my first order back prepaid. Worked like a charm even though I was not able to ship my first jacket back for over a week. Wore the new jacket last weekend and received many compliments.
I have not bought from Sierra trading post online, and my last purchase was at a store over a decade ago. Did not know the assortment and service was so good. Will be shopping more here.
