Closeouts. Fashioned with a ticket pocket, faux-suede elbow patches and leather dome buttons, Kroon's Pippin sport coat is a modern interpretation of iconic professorial style -- in a silky smooth stripe of lambswool and cashmere.

Living in the south, I would expect to wear this coat only in the winter, of course, but this material seems to be a little warm for anything above the low 60's. Basically, I'm pleased with the product. With the exception of the material weight, it's pretty much what I expected. Would purchase again.

Intriguing fabric, superfluous pockets, good weight, and ventilation, lovely soft feel to the outside fabric. Straight seams. The patches looked tacky.Lining is ridiculously short and uncomplimentary to the outward fabric. With a brown paisley tie from JZ Richards I received many compliments , but it was because everyone else was shabbily dressed. Even discounted it is probably overpriced. I paid $129. It is worth less than that.It is comparable to Value City sport-coat, but I put it above . Although I am not a fan of pin stripes, sorry Yankee fans, or Wall-streeters, this is the limit to a stripe I can accept. Good versatile brown coat, but not for everyday wear. Can't fathom the pippin part. Save your money and get a Harris Tweed, which will last a lifetime and never go out of style.
