Perfect for layering, I wear shirts like this under sweaters or zip necks in the winter. Kuhl is primo stuff.

Contour fit w/out being too snug. Wear an 8-10 and ordered a medium. Have not worn the shirt much. Would have liked a bit more multi-directional stretch.

I ordered a large in this and it fit very much like the picture on me--form fitting but not hugging your skin. The material is some kind of non-cotton that is thin but not transparent. All in all, I would recommend this for a casual summer shirt.
