La Canadienne Elsie Boots (For Women)

I bought these to take my puppy out in all the snow we've been getting but they look so good I wore them to work and got many compliments on them. They feel a little narrow around the toe area but not enough to bother and leather usually stretches out a little.

I have other boots from La Canadienne and they are very comfortable. These boots were not what I expected. The leather was stiff and they were at least a half size smaller than I expected. [...]

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. They seem best for slightly narrow ankles and feet like mine. They fit so comfortably that I can wear them all day! They look great too - the leather is good quality. The wedge heel is stable and stylish. I love them!

These felt snug around my forefoot but my heel slipped and the top didn't feel like it enclosed my ankles.

I wanted a cute boot to wear in wet weather(snow/rain) that was not bulky and heavy. This is exactly what I wanted! Please note that if you like wearing socks with your boots then you will want to size up a half an inch. The lining is thick and cozy so that I do not need to wear socks. Love it!

These boots are the bomb!

You will definitely get a lot of compliments when wearing this boot! It is a practical boot that keeps your feet warm w/o socks but also looks great. I ordered a size 6 (I'm a 5 1/2 W, but normally wear a 6) and they feel just fine. I've worn them almost every day since they came and don't have a single compaint about them. I haven't tested their waterproofness yet, but the heel is perfect for keeping feet dry in our NW drizzle and puddles.

I haven't worn the boots in snow or rain yet, but they are very comfortable and warm. The leather is smooth and beautiful and soles have good traction. I usually wear an 8.5 so that's what I ordered despite instructions that the boots run large.

When I ordered these I wasn't sure how comfortable they would be for me because I've got bunions and a little wider than normal foot, but they were instantly comfortable. There was a bit of snugness at first, but I expect that for my foot width. And they look much better on than I expected--definitely stylish with leggings and the perfect height for a petite person like me. They are warm and durable. Even with cold and snowy weather I am going to look great.
