I needed a boot that I could wear to work in the winter. It drives me nuts to have to change shoes. This boot is professional enough to wear with pants to work, but also casual enough to wear other times -- the perfect mix. They are very comfortable, and very warm. They seem to run a little big....

Not made in China.....very hard to find for a reasonable price. These are Canadian made boots that are very well made, very comfortable and warm. I wore them to work today and my feet did get a bit overly warm though, so I would recommend taking indoor footwear to change into. I ordered a size 8.5 and that is what I always wear and I have enough room for thick socks and not too much with thin. I saw a few comments about these boots being to snug....I typically wear a wide ("D") in athletic shoes and I found the width to be quite nice in these boots...perhaps it's the square toe that helps with that. I like the boxy square toe look but if you like the pointy toe look of shoes and want these for a more dressy cold weather boot, they may not be for you. Soooo happy I found these boots!!!

I bought these to wear in town in cold and wet weather. They are made of really nice leather, but they are a bit tight even with thin socks. Luckily, they are nicely lined. I am hoping they will stretch out a bit with wear; I thought a larger size would be too long. If not for the tightness, I would have given five stars.
