I have scotchgaurded mine and have walked through slushy/salted paths w/o a hitch. These are sooooo COMFY and warm - I wish I could get... Read More

I purchased these boots last year and I wore them with thick socks, they certainly kept me warm from the elements. However, the boot is poorly made! when I used a thinner sock the insole felt as if there was a small nail in the middle of the instep. I thought perhaps a small rock of salt fell into the shoe. With careful examination it was part of the shoe and I can not remove this irritating nail. So in the closet they went.

Great boots, well made, looks as through will last a long time, great style, very comfortable although
    they run small. I wear a 8 1/2 and bought a 9 1/2
as I know La Canadienne boots often run small. These fit perfectly and are very cozy. I like that they are made in Canada and not out-sourced.
