La Canadienne Peri Boots (For Women)

I havent had a chance to use it extensively yet, but it is great for casual wear, some office. Keeps my feet warm!!

I was instructed by the Sierra rep to purchase the boots a half size smaller than my normal size 8, as the La Canadienne shoes run that much smaller compared with US shoe size norms. The left boot was more or less okay; the right was very much smaller, especially in width and instep; a normal breaking-in process would not have made a difference.

Might be a good product, but 7 1/2 felt too tight for 7 1/2 sized foot.

These boots are cute and comfortable. I can wear them with jeans or with casual business clothes.

Ordered brown and black pr. Kept the brown, they had plenty of tread. The Bottoms of the black pr looked slippery.

These boots are good looking and warm, and they will last for years, I'm sure. The brown color is warm and rich, and the faux fur around the top resists dirt and water.

Very warm boots. I ordered my normal size and they fit perfectly. The toe box is quite square and boxy, but that's good for a cold weather boot. I wouldn't chose them if I was going for super stylish, though. You can tell that these boots are well constructed. I took them to Chicago when the temps were below 20 degrees and walked all over town. Only concern is that the right ankle area doesn't fit as snugly as the left - could be my ankles or the boots, don't know.

Please take the advice listed in the description of this product. It really does run about a half size too big. I ordered the usual size thinking they would be perfect with thick socks.... still too big. Order a half size smaller!

This is a practical winter boot with a bit of style - front zip makes it quite easy on and off. I bought both the black and brown version which are quite different - as pictured (I do find it odd how much variation there is between colors for the same style with La Canadienne). They do both run large but the black is much larger. I am a 6.5/7 and got the 6.5 in both -- it is a good fit for the brown and still a bit roomy with the black - but added an insert and good to go.
