“Very disappointed”

“I bought these boots in January 2009 and wore them for the rest of the Chicago winter. The boots were warm and comfortable if a bit stiff and not that stylish. They were in great shape at the end of the winter. They looked like they had barely been worn. This winter I wore them for a week and a half before the sole of the left boot toe came entirely unglued. I emailed La Canadienne and was told that their warranty is only for 6 months and they would not replace the shoe. I understand that there are manufacturing glitches but the company should have stood behind their shoes. I had thought that these were very high quality shoes, but I would never pay full price for a shoe that comes unglued after one season.”
