    The boots are strange. The bottom reads "Made in Italy, 36", the inside reads "Made in Canada, 6M". And they feel small. So, exchanged for 6.5M. 6.5M looks just a teeny bit larger, but the lining changed from cotton-like material to fleece-like material (which we don't like). 6.5M also has 36 at the bottom, and still feel a lot of downward pressure on toes and dorsal surface of feet.

    The fit is about 1/2 size larger but that is just perfect for the insoles you'll need. That and light to medium weight socks and the fit is perfect. Very comfortable right away. To get the zipper zipped you'd need fairly thin ankles (height/weight proportionate person). Excellent value for the price.
