Based on some reviews wasn't too sure about this one but it was on steep sale and needed an outdoor thermo. Surprised it works pretty well so far. The backlight sensor is a little finnicky, so it kind of changes brightness if you bump it/move it around at all. I consider that pretty minor though. It can be set to automatically scroll through several sensors, although it just comes with the one remote sensor and one on the unit itself (indoor temp). Not sure about the other features such as barometer/forecasting. I haven't seen it change from rain so far in a week-and it hasn't rained-but I don't put too much credence in weather forecasting without looking at the radar anyway.

Every function works fine and is accurate except the weather forecast. The color display background will not change and I find the graphic is distracting the reading on the screen . There are four setting for brightness, and they are good enough. The size of numbers are big. There are altitude setting and barometric pressure, but no pressure history. Color makes the unit attractive but not well manipulated. A four stars rating with a concern.
