Based on some reviews wasn't too sure about this one but it was on steep sale and needed an outdoor thermo. Surprised it works pretty well so far. The backlight sensor is a little finnicky, so it kind of changes brightness if you bump it/move it around at all. I consider that pretty minor though. It can be set to automatically scroll through several sensors, although it just comes with the one remote sensor and one on the unit itself (indoor temp). Not sure about the other features such as barometer/forecasting. I haven't seen it change from rain so far in a week-and it hasn't rained-but I don't put too much credence in weather forecasting without looking at the radar anyway.

Every function works fine and is accurate except the weather forecast. The color display background will not change and I find the graphic is distracting the reading on the screen . There are four setting for brightness, and they are good enough. The size of numbers are big.
There are altitude setting and barometric pressure, but no pressure history.
Color makes the unit attractive but not well manipulated.
A four stars rating with a concern.

Great unit! I have several other La Crosse units but this one is my favorite. Like having the color display and being able to set it up to go between the indoor and outdoor temperature. Setting the time was the most difficult things due to operator error.

This is an excellent product for the price. I installed the sender and the receiver couldn't pick up the signal. I changed the position from vertical to horizontal and it works fine. Note, the screen numbers aren't visible when you are more than 45 degrees from center in the horizontal position or more than 30 degrees vertically. A minor annoyance.

Great for temperature and humidity, but some numbers didn't show up so there was no way to set the altitude. Therefore, forecasting wasn't accurate. I returned it and am waiting for a replacement.
