La Crosse Technology Digital Travel Alarm

This is a nice little clock -- easy to install battery & get it working. Then, I noticed it doesn't have a light, so you can't see the time at night with the lights out. The description says it's LED back-lit, but I'm not seeing that working on mine.... If you want a nice little clock for daytime use, this is good. At night, get another one!

This clock is difficult to turn the alarm off, especially when one is woken up with it! Also, the backlight is also hard to find and use.

Because sold as travel alarm clock I never came up with the idea that I could never set the accurate time on it here in Europe. Perfect for the US, nice color but international buyers - stay away from this alam clock unless you want to use it a regular manual alarm clock...it will never set automatically if outside -4 to -10 time zones!!..so basically it works in the US only. A big disappointment for me as my China made alarm clock worked worldwide from a no name brand and the one from La Crosse is simply made for US only and advertised as travel alarm clock??..US travel only?

I wouldn't buy it, not worth the low price to even return, but isn't a great choice.

The set up for this clock was not hard. It just took awhile with the one-button/multiple use concept.

I ran 20 pages off website to learn how to set it! After 2 hours, I gave up. I was going to give them as gifts, but, was embarrassed to give them. They did offer many options,but, as a travel clock, the simpler the better.

Nice little clock for the price, keeps accurate time, is supposedly updated by satellite. Has full instructions in a booklet as well as some basics in teensy print on the inside of its cover. Naturally, I went for the ones right there inside the clock cover rather than look them up in the book, but found that one of these instructions (alarm setting I think) had me pushing wrong buttons. I was able to dork around with it and finally get the thing to set, but... kinda annoying. Probably the instructions in the booklet are accurate, I have not checked. Print in both places is microscopic, so good luck. Still, now that I have the clock set up the way I want it, it is great. The alarm sounds are just right - widely spaced bird-like tweets that DO wake YOU but not the rest of the neighborhood, and the double alarm (two separate alarms you can keep set for different times) is convenient. Be aware that the clock face is NOT visible in the dark.

I wanted a relatively small atomic travel alarm clock. This fits the bill well.
