It seems accurate in general. the computer cord is an old style connection which will not connect to my mac.

Uses old, obsolete serial cable to connect to computer. You need an adapter and it does not work well with computers that were built in the last 5 years.

Tech help phone goes to a long hold and eventually cuts off with no answer. Product is discontinued and FAQ cover only superficial things. I am very satisfied with it for my use, I like the display on my computer, but understand the negative reviews. The display has blocks for rain and wind functions, but the receiver does not receive them. LCD display cannot be read when mounted on a wall -- it is clear when held at an angle so that the background reflects light.
