“On the original unit I bought, I could not get the remote transmitter to get picked up by the main station. Everything on the main station worked fine and it linked to the atomic clock to sync quickly, but no outdoor temp reading. After a day of trying to get the remote to work, I returned it to Sierra Reno Outlet with their excellent customer service and the new one I received in the mail worked very well. The remote linked right up and I was off and running. Follow the directions. Cons of the unit are that it is hard to read at a distance (from the couch when it is at the TV), and the outdoor sensor is about 1-2 degrees higher then known temp, not a biggie as the price I paid for the unit with the extra discount was a steal and reads the three parameters I want adequately. I am very happy with it.”
