This unit has a small transmitter that can be mounted just about anywhere outdoors, even 40 feet away. for the price it is great as it has temp/humidity.

We set this in some of our apartments to get a read on the temperature, and will also take it in our travel trailer when away from home to have an outside temperature reading. No wires make it quite portable. It took a few minutes to set up but the automatic time and date settings are terrific. Also quite accurate all the time because it resets every night.

We all love watching Oscar and like knowing upcoming weather conditions. The weather station stopped working shortly after we got it and had to replace the battery in the outside sensor. It took a couple days for it to reprogram but seems to be working o.k. now.

This weather service is great, even for the kids! It shows a picture of a person dressed in appropriate clothing... very cool. It got us outside playing on a rare 50 degree December day because we looked at the guy w/no jacket & were like "let's GO!"
