I wanted this to work so I could monitor the temperature in my attic but the remote sensor stopped transmitting several months later and I could not get it working again. Since I got it so cheap it wasn't worth the postage to return it. The display also fades when it's in a cold environment. I would not buy it again. However, I have other weather stations from La Crosse that work great.

The first La Crosse Technology Wireless Thermometer by La Crosse Technology lasted just short of a year. We were very pleased with its performance but it just didn't work anymore. We ordered another and it didn't even last one month and we never could reset the time on it. We received a replacement (free of charge) so far so good; although we cannot manually set the time.
