“Poor design”

“It worked for 2 days. The clock never worked. Temp sending unit kept failing despite restarts and changing batteries. Calling LaCrosse Technical service was a nightmare. No response and when I finally did talk to someone 5 days later they were rude and unhelpful. The description says the unit is water proof but when I talked to the Tech person they said, "you have invalidated your warranty because you did not put the unit out of the weather..." Stay away from this product -- it is really lousy.”
