    I purchased the product as a way to be able to read the outside temperature at our house that gets very windy. Traditional thermometers blow away and break due to the wind conditions where we live. I am pleased that the sensor is working and has not been a "victim" to the wind. The unit appears sturdy and reliable.

    This looks very nice outside the box, but the box itself makes it look sort of cheap. It works fine, and if I'd bought it for myself, I'd be completely happy. Since it was a gift, though, I was a little embarrassed by how cheaply it was packaged. Can't complain much at this price, though!
