    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    This would be a cool if it was accurate, but unfortunately it seems to be at least 15 degrees higher than it actually is. I have installed on the outside of a kitchen window which does get direct sunlight, so maybe that's the problem, but even in the dead of night it shows high. Also, the display is clear glass, making it almost impossible to read at night or against a darker background.

    Temperature sensor on the window simply does not work. It seems like it adds at least 10 degrees, but it varies. Would NOT recommend this product. Will look into if I can send it back.

    Temperature cannot be seen in the evening from inside the house. It is only visible during the daytime. It also reads several degrees high because the sensor is close to the window. More of a novelty than functional, but does look cool.

    I'm afraid that my windows are old, and not that well insulated, so the thermometer reads somewhere between the indoor and outdoor temperature. I had to post it outdoors beyond the window, instead. It is very accurate now, and the large readout is helpful. I like their products overall.

    i can only read the screen when it is light outside. unfortunately for me, i am most interested in viewing temp in the early AM and late evening, and am having a really hard time reading the temp!
