    Pros:
Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot
    Cons:
Not especially breathable, Not Water Resistant, Slow to dry
    Best Uses:
Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain
    Describe Yourself:
    Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger
    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Midsole is a nice balance of stiff/protective and flexy running-shoe softness. Although these are not very breathable, they are certainly NOT water/snow resistant, so hiking at altitude in the spring is a no go. Scotchgard helps. Otherwise I am happy with fit function traction etc. I wear these a lot in dirt and pavement and they are holding up nicely.

I'm new to hiking (& haven't tried trail running), thus I was unfamiliar with the La Sportiva brand. When researching trail shoes, I noticed the narrow width comments and I had to try them. They are in fact narrower than marked and just right for me. They are probably a little shorted than marked, but I paired them with Thorlos Ultra Light Hikers and tested both on a 2-1/2 walk. A little snug, but they will work well for me. No more side-to-side slippage from shoes too wide.

I have narrow feet and find La Sportiva's fit very accurate. It is true that they run small. I order a half size larger. The approach shoe rubber is sticky - which I like, but do not expect the soles to last as long as higher density materials.

Love the way this shoe looks. It's comfortable but needs a little bit of breaking in because it runs a bit narrow.

I needed some good shoes for Disc Golf, these give me the traction I needed off the tee and walking in search of my disc which is not always in the fairway. I have a narrow foot and have always had a hard time finding shoes that fit these are great although you may want to get a half to a full size larger I normally wear a 9.5 and these are 10.5 and they fit great

order a half size larger than other running shoes(such as brooks, new balance, etc). I use these as approach shoes with up to 40lbs and they work great.

oozzes down slab, but could friction free solo on slabs where other competent slab climbers needed climbing shoes. Light, cushy step saves my knees. This brand seems to be pretty narrow generally
