my husband recommended these boots to me and I am so glad I listened. I bought them in my true size (40), and they are very roomy, so much so that I was able to put my highest volume arch support insert into them (SOLE brand) and with that footbed they fit perfect. I did 3 day-hikes in a row last weekend in them (all between 6-8 miles) and was pleasantly surprised that I had NO foot issues, no blisters, and very happy, dry feet (the last day it was raining hard during the last part of the hike and my feet remained perfectly dry). I will primarily use these backpacking the rest of the summer and I can tell they're perfect for it. Out with my old boots that gave me blisters, these ones are amazing! My husband loves this brand that fits his high arch perfectly, and I was happy they also fit me too, even though i don't have a particularly high arch at all. And what a great price I got on STP!

I have owned several pairs of La Sportivia boots. Always very satisfied. Good for hiking and light mountaineering.

Great boot, fitted first time after I got correct shoe size. It is a firm encapsulating fit of the foot so be aware if you have orthotics can be a bit tight!! Wore mine first time 9 hours straight - no issue. Comfy, great breathabilty quality, I do recommend them.
