“Where do I start? I got these in 2005 when I was augmenting the sniper scouts. I lost count how many times I was up and down harsh terrain with anywhere from 65 to 95 lbs on my back...and these under my feet. They offer fantastic traction, great warmth, and are ready to tackle the most rugged conditions. I would, however, recommend wearing thin-nylon socks beneath your normal hiking socks the first few times you wear these. It's now 6 years later and I still wear them almost every weekend on 5 to 10 milers. They're worn, but still kickin!”
