5.0 out of 5 stars. the best bootsVerified Buyer Reviewed by frank from Massachusetts on Friday, August 17, 2018is the second LA SPORTIVA TRANGO CUBE that I buy, they are the best boots I had for approaching mountains, they are light, precise and the semi-rigid sole is perfect for walking on stones. I recommend that you buy a larger size than the one you use, at least one size larger than usual.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Durability...Comfort...Style...product from Sierra Trading PostVerified Buyer Reviewed by Fez from Gettysburg, Pa. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018Next to me the wildlife love em!
Excellent in quality...fit...and comfort! So far they've taken a beating in a short period on part of the Appalachian Trail...Time will tell how long they'll last but these boots are one of the best pair I purchased from Sierra. As for the great deal and price, shipping and customer service, I give this whole transaction a 5 ? star rating...I will be back to Sierra Trading Post again! -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great light weight mountaineering bootReviewed by MP from CA on Friday, May 18, 2018I wore these boots to the top of Mt Shasta on May 13, 2018. Fit: I normally wear size US 9.5 - 10 (most often 10), I needed 10.5 in these (Eur 43.5). I usually struggle with toe room, and these did seem narrow at first, but there is plenty of volume and I had no issues whatsoever with my feet going up or coming down, even when doubling up on socks...one of the best-fitting boots for my feet I've ever tried. I used universal crampons with no issues (there is a ledge on the heel, but not the toe). These are lightweight for a mountaineering boot, yet very supportive with a stiff sole, perfect for Mt Shasta-like conditions but I wouldn't call it a heavy-duty mountaineering boot. The boot remained dry throughout the trip climbing in the snow; however, they had to save weight somewhere so the insulation is minimal and my feet got very cold (solved that with toe warmers), so one star off for that. I've now put about 25 miles on these boots, mostly in snow and lava-rock, and have had no issues with wear. Overall, I was very happy with my investment and these may become my go-to boots for all my hiking trips no matter what the season or conditions.

5.0 out of 5 stars. DisappointedReviewed by Anonymous from Colorado on Wednesday, April 18, 2018I loved these boots, they are light and absolutely did the job. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the following fatal flaw. So on their first ascent I started noticing pieces were coming off the vibram soles. Traction-wise the soles are amazing but they are too soft- at least the ones I had were- and pieces kept coming off from the frontal area or the climbing zone. A significant enough chunk came off that had me real worried. I wish I could upload pictures, but it truly was a pity, as almost half of the width had come off. So I retured them. What a pity!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Mountaineering Boots Are All DifferentVerified Buyer Reviewed by jeech from Boston on Tuesday, January 30, 2018At the price I paid, I really wanted these to work. Mountaineering boots are very fickle, and what fits one person's size 10 foot will not fit another's. My problem is exacerbated by the fact that my right foot is significantly larger than my left due to an old surgery. These felt narrow and would have been great for my feet, but I couldn't get a size large enough for my right that could still contain my left heel properly.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome boot at a great priceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dave from CO on Friday, January 26, 2018Great lightweight boot for technical mountaineering in everything but the coldest temperatures. You can find this boot elsewhere for nearly $400 so the STP price of 149 is simply too good to refuse.
