La Sportiva Habanero Approach Shoes (For Men)

These shoes are great for everyday use and I suppose they would be awesome for day hikes too but I haven't used them for that yet. A little too muddy still.

I like to travel light and bought these for my next trip to Central America.

These thing feel great right out of the box. I'm looking for new buildering problems all over town, ready to crank on the next stone wall or offwidth seam I come across. Ninja shoes for sure... makes walking around town feel like I'm working my favorite bouldering circuit. They worked even better at Wednesday nights Fight Club, but then I really can't talk about it...

I bought this for my husband, and they are very good shoes!

I bought a pair of these in the La Sportiva size 39 which STP posted as a men's size 7. I was skeptical they would fit, and indeed, when they arrived, they are very small. The shoe box, in fact, says size 6.5+. I am not sure what the + sign means, but it does not mean that they are size 7. I have not yet returned them because they are very nice approach shoes and I may be able to wear them in the summer without socks- I have yet to make that decision.

Great shoe. Too soon to say about durability, but very comfortable--add 1/2 to a full size. Incredible traction and lightness. And a cool, unassuming look, hard to find when quality performance shoes seem to need to be loud, puffy, blatant, slashed with multicolored diagonal notice-me affectations.

I bought these shoes for everyday use. They are very comfortable, however, I don't know how they would hold up as a hiking or approach shoe. I like the manufacturer and have numerous pairs of their shoes. In fact, the B-5's are on their way!

Not bad, but ordering euro sizes is tough

Definitely order bigger than usual with this one. Looked like they would have been good shoes if they fit. [...]

I wear out shoes quick switching between various activites so I've been on a search for a good quality shoe, and the habanero seems to be the best shoe yet. Awesome traction on wet rocks, not so good on wet grass, however. These shoes work great on rock scrambles, mountain biking, hikes and around town... Overall Awesome shoe
