“Good for narrow feet, pavement”

By Chic and Plump in San FranciscoVerified Purchaser from San Francisco, CA on 07/03/2010
Pros:
Ankle Support, Comfortable, Durable, Good Arch Support, Good Cushioning, Great Traction, Lightweight, Pronation Control, Stabilizes Foot
Best Uses:
City pavement, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain
Describe Yourself:
City Walker, Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
“I needed something for walking all over San Francisco, up and down hills, often pushing a baby stroller. I was getting lots of exercise this way, but my Asics weren't giving me the support I needed--particularly for my narrow feet and high arches. Without the support in these shoes, I would not only pronate, but my heels would slide to the side of the shoe. I love these La Sportivas because I can be in them all day and not experience hip or back discomfort as the hours pass.”
