I use these shoes for repetative physical labor w/ much side-to-side motion. The stability & cushioning is great! My knees and feet are smiling! Wish I had bought 2 pairs

The pair I received are defective—material bunching at the back of the shoe above the heel. I have been running in them anyway; about 3 miles causes some irritation on my heels but I do not get a blister and am just hoping that more use will compress the bunched material so that it becomes less problematic.

Bought these for an upcoming trail run/race. I put this shoe on and took it right off. Have a pair of La Sportiva Wildcats that are wonderful but this shoe was EXTREMELY stiff, even for a pair of trail runners.

These trail runners ran extremely small -- I wear always wear 6 1/2--and that's what I ordered--These were more like a 5--I could barely get my foot in the shoe. Returned them for the Teva trail runners which fit perfectly.

I bought these because I read the reviews. I really like my Montrails but they are no longer available. Another reviewer said she also had Montrails but when they were no longer available, she got these and loved them. I have to agree. I've used them on paved roads and trails and they are very comfortable. The only difference that I've noticed is that the toe box is narrower and it seems like it runs a little small but no blisters yet. I normally wear a size 6.5 in running shoes but it seems that I could have went with a 7.0 in these.

I needed something for walking all over San Francisco, up and down hills, often pushing a baby stroller. I was getting lots of exercise this way, but my Asics weren't giving me the support I needed--particularly for my narrow feet and high arches. Without the support in these shoes, I would not only pronate, but my heels would slide to the side of the shoe. I love these La Sportivas because I can be in them all day and not experience hip or back discomfort as the hours pass.

These were slightly smaller than other brands of the same size, but serve me well on the trails and the price was right.

Love these shoes! Great for what I needed them for! Mostly an outdoor shoe, but that's where I am anyway, so you could try them in the gym, but why when the sunshine may be calling..... Love the shoes!

I needed a good supportive shoe that also accommodated my inserts from Good Feet. These fit the bill perfectly. I was able to wear a 7.5 which I found surprising. Most sport-type shoes require an 8 or higher. I have not had the opportunity to hike in them yet but I think for easy hikes they will be fine. For more strenuous hikes, I need more ankle support.
