Reviewed by Hikey McHikerson from California on Tuesday, May 21, 2013The last pair of La Sportiva trail shoes I had were size 46.5 fit and they fit perfectly on my US 13-sized feet. I tried a 46.6 and a 47 in the Quantums but both were way, way too small. It was a struggle to get my feet in the 47's, and when I did I felt like I was going to bust out of them, Hulk-style. I don't know what happened to their sizing but they definitely do not fit like they used to.

Reviewed by HELIDR from Vermont on Monday, May 20, 2013Read the previous reviews and decided to buy the Quantum. I'm normally a 12.5 or 13, so I bought the 13.5 size. At first the shoe felt very snug, but after wearing it for a while...the shoe felt great. I've been out on a few short trail runs so far and the grip/stability has been excellent. You definitely want to go a size larger for comfort.

They're a little snug, but the rubber is tough, just the right amount of sticky, and actually forms to the terrain underfoot; giving your ankles a break and letting you keep your traction. These shoes aren't ideal for the sandy trails around my house, but they'll be perfect for talus fields and slabs in the high country.

I have a very narrow foot, and I have found 2 or 3 shoes by La Sportiva that fit me, including this one. This one probably fits my narrow foot the best of them all. The "grippy" soles are effective. I really like these shoes.
