Because of narrow feet, I look for "lace-to-toe" styles. Not all are attractive, and this one would qualify. It appears more "skate-boy" oriented but I wanted to try the comfort factor. Not bad, but it felt like there was just too much cushion in the tongue. This made the feeling more "clunky" because lacing them any tighter put too much pressure on the tops of my feet. The look of it, a friend said, made him wonder when my feet were "expecting". They do appear well made, but because I sent them back due to the comfort issue, I'll never know. Stinking narrow feet anyway!!

They run one size small at a minimum possible more.

I bought these for knocking around in and for easy on-off after skiing, hiking, etc. Make sure to BUY A HALF SIZE LARGER. The design is somewhat a modified skateboard shoe, rather broad and airy. Very nice look and the bottoms are truly sticky. I suspect might be good on ice, but haven't tried that as yet. I don't know about durability or whether they'll be comfortable for the long haul. We'll see. If you have ankle issues, look elsewhere, as these do not provide much support, but then again that is not the purpose.

These are nice looking and I'd say most resemble skate shoes. They are for the casual wearer, as they don't appear constructed for sports. Maybe to street cruise on a bike, board or light walking. I have not had time to wear them much at all so I cannot comment on durability or even comfort, like if they cause hot spots. MAKE SURE to order a 1/2 size bigger as they run small (which could cause the hotspots!).

The bottom is nice and firm,useful in any environment.

Can't wear all day because they are a bit small and slightly uncomfortable. They look good though.

These are very similar to skate shoes but with better traction and a more mature look. They fit good and feel good on my feet. I have had lots of compliments about them.
