“I live in a rainforest, so even a short hike requires waterproof footwear on most days. I have taken them up steep and muddy trails and rock hopping along the coastline, great traction and truly waterproof to about 4.5 inches. Only complaint is that the softer foam ruber (light grey stuff) around the base of the boot tears up pretty easily on rocks. Overall good boots and you cannot do better for the price.”
